Esit Eket Youth Leaders warn against insults on their political leader

The youths of Esit Eket Local Government Area under the aegis of Coalition of Esit Eket Youth Leaders have warned against uncouth utterances against their Political Leader, Elder Benjamin Udobia.

The warning was contained in a communiqué issued by the group and made available to THE  INK Newspaper.

The youths maintained that Elder Benjamin Udobia is a man of goodwill and a Leader whose benevolence, Political exploits and sense of industry have been of immense benefits to the people of Esit Eket Local Government Area. They also noted that Elder Udobia is a leader who is guided by good conscience and fairness in upholding zoning and rotational principle in politics and allocation of political offices and resources to the greatest happiness of the people, which they said is the essence of utilitarianism as espoused by an English philosopher and social reformer, Jeremy Bentham.

They warned the detractors to desist from the pull-him-down syndrome against their political leader, as Elder Udobia is a rare gem and a great personality who has the interest of Esit Eket people at heart.

The people stated that “Although Elder Benjamin Udobia is the undisputed political leader of EsitEket, his leadership is a product of collective engagements where other leaders contribute towards decisions for the betterment of the people.”

“As a democrat, Elder Benjamin Udobia does not believe in imposition but rather, he champions the wishes of the people based on conviction and merit”, the youths added.

The group further warned against throwing tantrums, vitriol and vituperations on their leader, adding that they shall not hesitate to move against anyone or group of people who try to bring the hard earned reputation of Elder Benjamin Udobia into disrepute and odium.
