Let me start by saying that I received the invitation to this event and notification to give a brief remark with immense joy and gratitude to God Almighty who has preserved our lives to witness this day. Let me also place on record my profound gratitude to the Governor of our dear State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for graciously approving the continuation of this Youth End of Year Get-together. It is a clear demonstration of the place of youths in the Governor’s sincere quest to re-invent the will of Akwa Ibom Youths and reposition them for sustained productivity.
