We’ll deliver PDP in the LG polls …Dr. Esio Oquong Udoh vows

Ahead of the upcoming Local Government elections in AkwaIbom State, the political leader of Urueoffong/Oruko L.G.A., Rt. Hon. Dr. EsioOquongUdoh has ensure the government and the people of AkwaIbom State that come November 11, 2017 the entire people of the L.G.A. would turn up en mass and vote massively for all PDP candidates in a bid for them to emerged victorious at the polls. 

Dr. EsioOquongUdoh, himself a PDP stakeholder in the State said Urueoffong/Oruko was very happy with Governor Udom Emmanuel for attracting developmental projects to the area as well as the appointment of their illustrious sons and daughters into position of authorities, describing it as commendable.

He particularly commended the Governor for his 5 point agenda programmes including wealth/job creation, poverty reduction, political inclusiveness, infrastructural as well as security, among others. He reiterates that the development has gone a long way by impacting positively on the lives of AkwaIbom people. 


On the recent appointment of Chairman and members of AKISIEC Commission, the former parliamentarian described the appointees as round pecks in round holes.

He expressed optimism on their capacity to deliver on their mandate, viewing them as people with impeachable characters who have been tested and are trusted.

On the ongoing 18 hours power supply witnessed in some parts of the State, Dr. Udoh commended the Governor for fulfilling his campaign promises in a bid to boost the Small and medium Scale Businesses which revive the economy. 

He thanked the Governor for carrying the people along in his developmental programmes and for extending democratic dividends to the people, consequently, assured him that come November 11, the people of Urueoffong/Oruko will re-write their story by correcting the mistakes of the past even as he reaffirmed their total determination to support Governor Emmanuel beyond 2019.
