Akpakip Oro holds Solemn Assembly Wednesday

All roads will this Wednesday Lead to Esin Ufot in Oron Local Government Area as the people of the five Local Governments of Oron, Udung Uko, Urueoffong/Oruko and Okobo gather for a Solemn Assembly to pray fervently for Almighty God’s intervention in the affairs of Oro.

The one day religious event which is scheduled to take place at Marina  Road near Chief Ala Street will also feature, Bible exposition, prayer for Oro Nation and Akwa Ibom State to seek God’s face in the progress of Oro in all ramifications.

Briefing journalists in his palace at Esin Ufot, the Village head, Chief (Elder) Dr. Etim Ala disclosed  that the Solemn Assembly and prayer summit came as prophetic revelation during the last Easter Retreat in Esin Ufot in Oron Local Government which culminated in the planning for manifestationof the prophecy.

According to Chief (Dr.) Ala, the Solemn Assembly will also attract gospel evangelism and prophetic pronouncements from eminent ministers of gospel and soldiers of Christ who will function that day.


Also speaking, Evangelist Goodness Ita Esin stated that the time was ripe to hand over completely the affairs of Oro Nation political, economically, religiously and socially to the Almighty God for rejuvenation, clearing and complete turn-around.

Billed to commence at 9:00am, the Solemn Assembly will also feature,Choir and Music Ministrations and  prayers of the faithful from top Pastors, Bishops and Gospel Evangelists from the five Local Government Areas of Oro Nation.

Other members of the Planning Committee who were with the village head at the meeting included the Chairman of the village council Chief Etim Emmanuel Esin, Secretary Elder Etim Okon Bassey and some family heads of Esin Ufot Village including Chief Edet Essang, Chief Bassey Okon Asanam, Chief Etim Edet Bassey, Chief Efiong Bassey Nluongonyo, Chief Emmanuel Anwana  and Chief Efiong Asukwo Usine.

Also present were the women leader Mrs. Juliana OkonAntai as well as the youths leader, Ulap Essien Edet Essang among others.
