My Husband’s ordination is the will of God - Mrs. Akpan
In a bid to propagate the gospel and win more  souls for Jesus Christ, The Redeemed Sanctified Zion Church Incorporated last Sunday ordained new Ministers.

 The event which was part of activities marking the 2016 Annual Convention of the Church, took place at the National Headquarters, Cathedral of Redemption, Mbiabong Anyanya, Etoi, Uyo Local Government Area.

In his homily, the National President of the Church, His Lordship, Bishop (Dr.) J. O. Udo (JP) regretted the unfortunate incident of the collapse Reigners Bible Church building in Uyo and prayed for the quick recovery of those injured and the families of that lost their loved-once the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses.

Bishop Udoh advised the new ministers to emulate Jesus Christ by living a life worthy of emulation. Speaking after his ordination, Pastor Eno U. Akpan expressed gratitude to God for what He has done in his life and that of his family.


Pastor Eno Akpan thanked the National President of the Church, Bishop (Dr.) J. O. Udo and the entire leadership of the Church for finding him worthy to be elevated to the position of a Pastor.

Pastor Akpan who is in-charge of Ikpe Ikot Akpan Assembly of the Church in Essien Udim, said the elevation will encourage him to do more in the Lord’s Vineyard and prayed God to give him the wisdom and enablement.

On her part, Mrs. Josephine Eno Akpan described the elevation of her husband to the position of a Pastor as divine work of God coming at His appointed time. Mrs. Akpan thanked the leadership of the Church for finding her husband worthy to serve as a Pastor and prayed God to give the new Pastor the requisite wisdom to discharge his duties effectively.

Reacting to the ordination of Pastor Eno Akpan, his Elder brother, Elder Malachy Akpan described it as the will of God and prayed God to give the new Pastor the wisdom to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The service featured prayers for the state, nation the victims of the collapse building of Reigners Bible Church, the launching of the Church 2017 calendar among others.
