Uyo has a formidable PDP structures – Joseph Etim

The president of Oku Youth Congress, Hon. Joseph Etim has described the political structures of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that produced the elected representatives into the Senate, Federal House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly as very formidable to withstand any threat from the opposition parties in Akwa Ibom State. Speaking during a media chat with journalists, Hon. Etim who is also the Supervisor in the Transition Committee of Uyo Local Government council said that PDP has penetrated deeply into all the nooks and crannies of Uyo Senatorial District which has made the party a household name in a every family.

He said the structure of the PDP cannot be up rooted by the opposition even if there is any election because according to him the programmes of the party has touched the lives of the people meaningfully. The president further said that the combine team of Hon. Monday Eyo, member representing Uyo State Constituency, Hon. Michael Enyong and that of Senator Bassey Albert is enough to intimidate the opposition, because of their capacities to pull the masses anytime for the PDP in event of election in Akwa Ibom State is enormous.
He said the “Supreme Court judgement will be favourable because if about 20 members in the Assembly has retained their seats in an election which was held at the same time and venues with the governorship election, then there is no way the governorship election can be said not to have been held in Akwa Ibom State.”
