AKHA holds pre-budget briefing, tomorrow

Following the presentation of 2016 budget of Sustainable Development by the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom G. Emmanuel, the House Committee on Appropriation and Finance has fixed tomorrow Friday 8th January 2016 for public hearing of the budget. In a release signed by the Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Usoro Akpanusoh and made available to THE INK, the event is billed to take place at Old Chapel of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Sir Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo by 10.00am.
Those invited are; The political class, The corporate class, The business class, Traditional / Royal parents, Religious bodies, Stakeholders, Government / Non-governmental organizations, The general public and Gentlemen of the press.

The release further stated that interested persons can forward five (5) copies of Memoranda to the Clerk, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Committee on Appropriation and Finance, Legislative Matters Department, Udo Udoma Avenue. The Speaker of the Assembly, Barr Onofiok Luke will declare the forum open.
