Former Minister commends Usoro Usoro
A former minister, lands and housing  and a two term member of the house representatives, Chief Nduese Essien has commended Chief Usoro Usoro on His emergence as the Zonal Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Zone-A, in central ward 2, Eket Local Government.

The former minister stated this during the presentation of Chief Usoro Usoro to him and other stakeholders of the party at his resident Chief Nduesse Essien stated that the former Chief Press Secretary to Governor has contributed immensely to the party before and during the elections and praised the choice of Usoro Usoro and the Zonal Leader, describing him as a round peg in a round hole.

Earlier in his address, the leader of the delegation and ward chairman, central wards 2, Eket. Elder Daniel Sampson told Chief Nduesse Essien that the emergence and confirmation of Chief Usoro Usoro is as a result of tract record of service to Akwa Ibom State Government, People’s Democratic Party, ward and Eket Local Government. 


The ward chairman recalled how Chief Usoro contributed financially to the success of the party during the April 2015 general election and urged him to do more on his new assignment.

Responding, Chief Usoro Usoro who is also a traditional title holder of “Mkpafah Ekid” express delight on his selection and promised to give the zone a selfless and effective representation.

His words; “I have made myself available for service to the zone and People’s Democratic Party.” Chief Usoro who praised Chief Nduesse Essien on his leadership qualities promised to work tirelessly for the party.

Those who spoke at the occasion were Chief S. S. Obot (by the grace), Chief Friday Peter Ekpa (GSP) Obong Ayiridua Enodien, Mr. Joseph Ebitu and Obonganwan Udo Samuel Assamudo.

Present at the occasion were, Chief Iniobong Idemgh, Prince Tommy Enodien, Mrs. Dorathy Usen Usen, Mr. Ubong Ekwere, Mrs. Mercy Ekpe Nyoho, Mr. Nseobong Dickson (Cortina), Prince Eshiet Williams and Godwin Friday John A.K.A Miracle among others.
