Nelson Efiong supporters re-affirm PDP success come April 11 …Solicit steadfastness, total loyalty

Supporters of the Senators-elect for Eket Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Chief Nelson Efiong have vowed to remain undaunted in voting massively for the People’s Democratic Party in the April 11 gubernatorial and State Assembly Polls in spite of the unfavourable outcome of the March 28 Presidential election which placed  Retd General Buhari as Winner.

Accordingly, the Chief Nelson Efiong Campaign Organization has resolved to continue in the sensitization of its teeming supporters, electorate as well as admirers and followers to vote massively for PDP in this Saturday’s elections.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of what political pundits referred to as “core and diehard loyalists” of PDP in Oro nation, the Media Adviser to the Senator-elect, Prince Eteyen Okwong who also expressed appreciation of Chief Nelson Efiong to the people of Eket Senatorial District and Oron nation in particular for standing by the Senator-elect throughout the March 28 Senate race, and challenged them to continue in the direction they have already taken to actualize the success of Mr Udom Emmanuel , Hon Efiong Okon Bassey (Attih) and other State House of Assembly Candidates in Oron nation and indeed Eket Senatorial District.

Prince Eteyen Okwong (popularly known as Sunshine) reasoned that it would be suicidal for Chief Nelson Efiong core supporters and loyalists to abandon struggle and effective campaign just because the opposing party has grabbed the centre.

The media guru and professional strategist who informed the gathering and journalists present that Rt.Hon. Chief Nelson Efiong was in very high spirits to implement his blueprint in the red chambers of the National Assembly immediately he assumes representation, also revealed that already, the senator-elect has mapped out his roadmap and strategic plans to relevant beneficial and rewarding democratic packages that would attract enduring dividends for the masses in Eket Senatorial District.

Prince Eteyen Okwong emphasized that it was irrelevant to bemoan the shocking success of APC at the Presidential election, pointing out that since Akwa Ibom State and indeed Oron nation have always played the PDP holding on to and remaining focused in the party in the gubernatorial and State House of Assembly polls would afford the people the platform to enjoy their right on the allocation and sharing table.

The one-time Urue-Offong/Oruko Council as State House of Assembly man, while condemning the continuous nurture of the traumatic experiences of the outcome of the presidential polls, charged the people of Oron nation, Eket Senatorial District and members of Rt. Hon. Chief Nelson Efiong Supporter Groups to reach out, propagate and enlighten the electorate on the appropriate option now left for the masses to really enjoy what belongs to them under the incoming PDP administration of Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.

Responding on behalf of the Core Professional Forum in Oron Nation, a media consultant, Chief Emmanuel Esifa expressed enthusiasm that with the large turnout of Rt. Hon . Chief Nelson Efiong Supporters Network Managers, victory for Udom Emmauel, Hon Efiong Okon Bassey (Attih) and other PDP candidates remains nonnegotiable and irreversible.

Chief Esifa who is also the Chairman of League of Veteran Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, disclosed that his forty-years in media practice and news planning has taught him to imbibe the believe that a robust and populous party like PDP of today and NPN of yesterday can never be stranded, defeated or ignored.
