Udom Emmanuel does not need to campaign in Abak - Godwin Norbert

Udom Emmanuel does not need to campaign in Abak - Godwin Norbert
A former Supervisor for  Education Youths and  Sports in Abak Local Government area, Hon. Godwin Norbert Okon has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate in the state, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel does not need to campaign in Abak local government area as he has already been assured of a 100 percent votes during the forth coming election.

Hon. Godwin Okon who spoke with Journalists at Abak after the PDP Governorship campaign rally to the area, described the event as a home coming for the governorship hopeful. “The rally was to us a jamboree because Mr. Udom Emmanuel does not need to campaign in Abak. The rally was a home coming for our incoming Governor and his running mate, our illustrious Son, Mr. Moses Ekpo. We have already assured them of a 100 percent votes during the forthcoming election. The rally was an expression of Abak People on the choice of our father and brother as the Deputy Governor candidate.

It was a show of appreciation for the leadership of the party on the choice of our representatives in various levels. So, Transformation Initiative was really happy to identify with the rally. The BOT Chairman, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang was there and other members of the National Exco”, the former Supervisor explained.

Hon Okon who is the Abak Chapter Coordinator of Transformation Initiative for the Empowerment of Akwa Ibom people, pointed out that Transformation is a socio-political organization founded in God, an association of people who saw the vision of an industrialized Akwa Ibom state, A state characterized by good government, an organization that believes in the sustainability of the uncommon transformation, an organization that moves towards the installation of Government of the righteous that the people may rejoice.

The Chapter Coordinator further explained that Transformation was founded to propagate the actualization of good government through Udom Emmanuel, “We are the people that saw the vision of Udom Emmanuel as Governor in 2015 and beyond. We have been involved in series of campaigns from units to units where we present materials to people, soliciting for their votes. We are very sure of victory in Akwa Ibom State”, Hon. Okon stated.

He expressed the hope that by their calculation, if they return all their votes to Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, as according to him, Dr. Jonathan’s major opponent has so many lapses that the electorates will not take for granted. “Even in this country, the number one job of being the President requires qualification at least WAEC. But from all indication, it seems one of the top contenders does not have the needed requirement to occupy that seat. So based on that, we believe that as School Teacher and a performing President, Dr. Jonathan stands a better chance to win. We don’t know any other candidate except the other unqualified person.

So, we believe Goodluck will win because he has already done well with his transformation programme”, Hon. Godwin Norbert reasoned
