A Non-Governmental Organization, Save The Children’s Campaign has held a send-forth party for Secondary School students. The party which took place penultimate Friday attracted guests from far and near.

The organization which began officially in 1993 has its mandate the task of repositioning children and youths for a viable future. They are out to instil sterling leadership qualities in the lives of the youths and inculcate in them the fear of God.

The two Schools in attendance were Cornelia Connelly College (CCC) and Heritage College located at Nsikak Edouk Avenue.

Both schools presented powerful renditions to spice up the day while there were other side attractions including comedy, dance and lots more.

High point of the occasion was the induction of the graduating students into the mainstream of the organization known as Uyo Public Sector.

Speaking, the Chapter Coordinator of the Uyo sector, Mrs. Praise Ekom welcomed the new members into the sector and urged them to imbibe the habit of prayers and the fear of God if they must advance in life. STCC Director, Dr. Ekom Akpan (JP) also gave the graduating students some inspirational nuggets while imploring them to shun vices that may put their future in jeopardy.
