CAKA gets more enlightenment materials- BY EMMANUEL AKPAN

Another set og enlightenment materials worth thousands of naira has again been presented to the leadership of Coalition of Akwa Ibom Agenda (CAKA) a socio-political group in the state.

The materials including stickers, t-shirts and face caps were presented by Mr. Bassey Eyibio Umoren, a patron in Ibiono Ibom chapter of the group in a brief ceremony at Tevoli Hotel, Uyo.

Mr. Bassey Umoren whose operational base is in Eket appealed to the leadership of the group to use the materials in propagating the ideals and principles of the group to the inter and hinter land areas of the state, advising that with good information network and proper mass orientation of the people on the need to support the group’s political agenda, mission 2015 will not only be accomplished but will be realized with ease.

He emphasized that as a committed member and believer of the “Oro Project” he will within the limit of his powers continue to give the necessary assistance and support to the group but warned against insincerity and backwardness on the part of members who are yet to come to terms and reality of the envisaged project.

He appreciated the leadership of the incumbent governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio who he noted has performed credibly well in the area of infrastructural development and human capacity building emphasizing that “it will only take somebody who has under studied him to continue with his innovative ideas”.

Mr. Umoren thanked the international coordinator of the group, Hon. Edeke Edeke for his leadership qualities and appealed to him to continue to exhibit this high sense of responsibility till the group reaches their Eldorado.

Receiving the materials, Hon. Edeke Edeke specifically commended Ibiono Ibom chapter of the group for standing out as the best so far in uplifting the tenet and well being of CAKA. Hon. Edeke recalled that it was another patron from Ibiono Ibom Engr. Kufre Ekong Inyang that set the ball rolling donating to the group and that with new set of materials from yet another son of Ibiono Ibom, he is confidence that with such spirit probably from other chapters, the envisaged target will be conquered.

He appealed to all and sundry to give the Oro Nation a level playing ground promising that if given the opportunity in 2015 an Oro man will surely consolidate on the gains of Akpabio’s administration.

He promised to make effective utilization of the materials and solicited for understanding, cooperation and commitment from the members.
